Time Lapse footage of a 10 day long Research and Development period for Paper Doll Militia’s “Unhinged.” Unhinged is a duo fabric piece, which is currently being extended into a multimedia and movement driven “Live Photo Essay” using the stunning imagery from Santhosh Koneru, and Indian digital artist who specializes in surrealistic photo manipulation. Take a look into our world of pulleys, ropes, endless white fabric, lights, slide projectors, and see how we piece it all together.
Mortal Engine is a dance performance using movement and sound responsive projections to portray an ever-shifting, shimmering world in which the limits of the human body are an illusion-amazing and challenging work, really inspiring.
This was created by Klaus Obermaier & Ars Electronica Futurelab. It shows a great interaction and relationship between digital art and human movement. Cleverly structured and effectively presented.
We love the way in which A Dandypunk has used such simple drawings with such high tech projection mapping to waeve an effective story with engaging characters-very inspiring.
Paper Doll Militia are always on the hunt for new and inspiring videos. This is one piece which we found particularly inspiring. We took a workshop with the company and are now using some of their techniques within our practice.
